So, this isn't going to turn into a food blog, but there will be food stuff posted, because that is yanno, my other obsession. growing/ preserving/cooking and eating food. I also have a hard time with recipe blogs being 100,000 paragraphs when, I just want to make the food.

So, here it is, a healthy, salty crunchy snack (because every freaking healthy snack is sweet)

What you will need:

1 or 2 cans of garbanzo (or 2 to 4 cups. Every 2 cups is about 16oz)

1/2 tsp of melted coconut oil or butter per 16oz of beans

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1tsp basil

Salt (to taste)

-Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F, you savage.

-Dry off garbanzos with paper towel or a clean towel

-In a bowl combine all ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Don't slack ass this part.

-Place evenly on a cookie sheet (I do not recommend parchment paper for this one, unless you like your chickpeas individually wrapped, if you know what I mean.)

-Place in oven setting a timer for 10 minutes

-Every 10 minutes roll/ stir the beans. I really try to roll the ones in the middle to the edge and the ones to the edge to the middle to keep them even.

-Do this 4 times (total of 40 minutes) after the last stir turn your oven off, but leave your beans in as the oven cools it will give your beans an extra crunch!

-Enjoy!
