Teacher Trainings!
Current and upcoming YTTs:
Spring/Summer 200 hour Yoga Alliance accredited Teacher Training
Join myself and Sheila Masterson (Star, Sage, Spirit,) to deepen your knowledge of mind and body from the comfort of your own home (mostly)! Our 200 hour yoga teacher training, will have both online and some in-room classes in accordance with the Yoga Aliance’s requirements.
We will have three intensive weekends (fri-sat-sun 8-6) once a month and five mini sessions held on Wednesdays. As a group, you will study the core asanas, anatomy, philosophy, and the how-tos of cueing. We will also cover what is needed to conduct a safe class or private for both in-person and online formats.
The online classes will be done live to give you a chance to build community, network and ask questions real-time. Two of the Saturdays and the final Sunday will be in-person at the Jolly Llama Yoga studio. Let’s build a bright, fun and informed future for the practice we all love.
Sat, Chit, Ananda y’all!
Why Us?

Why not?!

We have a unique balance of deep topic knowledge and a big sense of fun. There is not much time spent on empty talking and a lot more time in hands-on learning, practicing and application. As a group that takes ourselves seriously, we don't take ourselves too seriously. Seriously.
Mentorship and open communication means that you don't leave without all the tools you may need to feel like you can teach a class (butterflies aside.) Plus, when we learn how to teach a practice, we really begin to learn from our own practice.
The nitty gritty of business, scheduling, and any other knowledge that you may need for specialties will be covered.
What Is so Different?

We apply our diverse background in specialty movements and energy work to create a wholistic approach to teaching a range of yoga types.

...What do you mean, “diverse background?”

My Background lies in over twenty years of practicing yoga, on top of years in acrobatics and the aerial arts. Using the physical elements and applying them to a philosophical background leads to well balanced and diversified practices. I specialize in power yoga, yoga to vulnerable populations (eg. People in long-term recovery, prisons and people living with the effects of traumatic brain injury or TBI,) and aerial yoga.
